Biography
Munich and Vienna, Imperial chapel of Ferdinand I, 1527. Listed as in the first inventory of the household of Ferdinand I, made on 1 January 1527 (Munich, Staatsarchiv [formerly Kreisarchiv] Faszikel H. L. Freising 317), as one of the three Bassisten in Ferdinand’s Munich chapel, and one of the five Bassisten in Ferdinand’s Vienna chapel. Drosendorfer was the only bass at this time to serve in both chapels. All the adult singers in the Vienna chapel received 10 fl a month in wages.
