Waldner, Johannes (…-…). Musician; Singer

Appears as a “clericus” of Maximilian’s chapel in the “Rotulus nominationum Maximiliani I” (c. 1508), fol. 26 (Nº 229), petitioning for a benefice in the Benedictine monastery of St Georg, near Schwaz (diocese of Brixen). A “Hanns Waldiner” appears in the 1519 “Hofstaatsverzeichnis” among the “Ainspennigen.” Perhaps a relative of the singer Wilhelm Waldner*, also in the Imperial chapel.
