And in 1403 the master of the children of the Sainte-Chapelle, Johan- nes Bonne, magister artium, was en- rolled as a student in theology; this beautiful chapel is mentioned again in our records in 1444 when "Magister Johannes Mortis, cantor of the Sainte- Chapelle of the Royal Palace at Paris" appears among the doctors of law.29
