4e enfant de chœur de la liste non datée Pirro1926, p.190. Le 17.8.1469, il est choriste surnuméraire. Enfant de chœur précise Wright1976, p.216. Tjrs cité à ce titre en 1474-75. Comptes des petits vicaire (Wright1976, p.212): 1486 (Jo. Binchois, 14/15), 1495-n.n.
Wright1976, p.223 l’appelle Jean Hannekin alias Binchois et signale son départ pour Rome. La dénomination est dans 1061, 330. (27.2.1489)

 Planchart : Jehan Nainekin, alias Binchois: was a small vicar from 30 November 1485 to 20 June 1488, and from 25 December 1488 to 20 July 1490 [LAN, 4G 7472 (1485-86), 7v; (1487-88), 6r; (1488-89), 6r; (1490-91), 6v]. He was admitted on the condition that he attend the maîtrise [CBM 1061, 241v] and thus he is probably not the “little Binchois” documented as a chorister in 1469-70 [LAN, 4G 7765 (1469-70), 17r]. On 27 February 1489 the chaplaincy of St. James in the parish church of Binche, resigned by Jehan de le Quellerie, went to Binchois [CBM 1061, 330r]; this is the only benefice for him noted in the records. He is probably not the “quidam Binchois” received as a small vicar on 09 October 1500 [CBM 1064, 285v].
