Planchart : Jehan de Senleches: was a small vicar continuously from 23 November 1446 to 30 January 1460 [LAN, 4G 7446, 6v; 4G 7458, 5v] when he became a grand vicar upon the death of Guillaume Damien, alias de Soignies [CBM 1060, 66v]. He joined the grand community of chaplains in 1454-55 (his advent is not recorded) and appears in the lists from 1455-56 [LAN, 4G 6922, 23r] until 1456-57 [LAN, 6923, 21v], when he resigned his chaplaincy at the altar of St. Lawrence in a permutation with Honeste Maressel for the parish church of Inchy [CBM 1059, 266v]. The acts, passim mention a number of financial problems and his long and devoted service to the church [e.g. CBM 1059, 212r]. The last mention I have found in the documents is a gift of 10 lb from the aumosne recorded between 20 September and 04 October 1473 [LAN, 4G 7765 (1473-74), 21v]. Senleches probably died before 1476 and his passing and the transfer of his vicariate would have been recorded in the lost register N of the acts.
