Biography
Planchart : Henri de Mont Henri: was a small vicar from 22 November 1492 to 23 September 1499 [LAN, 4G 7472 (1492-93), 7v; (1499-00), 8r]. In 1496 he is documented as a chaplain in the parish church of Braine-l’Alleud [LAN, 4G 1082, No. 172]. On 23 August 1499 he was granted the chaplaincy at the altar of St. James, vacant on the death of Jehan Cornuel, and only a few days later, on 28 August the canons decided to relieve him of the vicariate [CBM 1064, 204r-204v], but as the wine account shows, he served for about a month more. The account of the grand community of chaplains for 1500-01 shows him holding his chaplaincy as a foreign one [LAN, 4G 6985, 38r]. In 1498-99 and 1499-00 he was paid by the fabric for copying a number of masses [LAN, 4G 4697, 23v; 4G 4698, 34v]. (check chaplains after 1501 and MS 1082)
