TWO ACCOUNTS FOR THE CHAPEL OF REN? OF ANJOU 89 A singer of the chapel, he was first cited in March 1449 but not as a new member (23). He was paid wages of 6 escus a month from then until September 1450 (23-4, 28, 30-1, 33) and he received 10 escus for a robe for May 1450 (29).

Estienne, Chappellain de Bretaigne 26 On 21 April 1450 Estienne was paid 4/ 2s 6d for his salary and for expenses in bringing a tenor to the chapel (26). The tenor is either Tassin de Haverse, first paid wages in May 1450, or Phelipot Maydon, paid for coming to the chapel in May 1450 but not asked to stay.
